Assurant appoints International Compliance Officer

Assurant has announced the appointment of Andy Mills to the newly-created role of International Compliance Officer.

Andy was previously the European Compliance Director, Assurant Solutions. In his new role he will have responsibility for compliance across Assurant’s international businesses. He will oversee the international compliance group which has been tasked with enhancing the effectiveness and consistency of the company’s compliance efforts.

Andy joined Assurant Solutions in 2007 bringing with him a wealth of experience in insurance regulation. He was previously at Grant Thornton UK LLP where he spent two years as Director, Financial Markets Group. Prior to that, he was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young in its Regulatory Practice Group. Andy is a regular speaker at industry events including the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the London Market Insurance Brokers’ Committee (LMBC) and the Annual Creditor Conference.
